Greetings from our club.
We are pleased to share with you a high-impact humanitarian initiative currently being developed under the Global Grant framework of The Rotary Foundation. The project aims to procure and deploy a fully equipped mobile blood collection and donation ambulance dedicated to supporting thalassemia patients.
Thalassemia is a life-threatening genetic blood disorder that requires patients to undergo regular blood transfusions throughout their lives. One of the most critical challenges these patients face is the consistent availability and timely collection of safe blood. Our proposed ambulance will function as a mobile unit to organize blood donation drives, reach remote areas and help ensure a reliable blood supply system, directly improving and saving lives.
This project is designed with sustainability, scalability, and measurable impact in mind. It will not only support ongoing transfusion needs but also raise awareness and strengthen voluntary blood donation networks within the community.
