Hi everyone!

Last weekend I had the joy of being at Midwest PETS - our President Elect Training Seminar. Amongst their training and many other topics, they spent lots of time on goal setting for the coming year (and maybe even beyond). Our current club presidents probably remember our time goal setting last year - and they were and still are counting on your help to achieve those goals. By the way, it's not too late - if you've fallen behind on some goals, or still need to set some, that's ok and your club leaders can do that right now in the goal center at rotary.org. Remember, clubs that set and achieve 13 of the 25 goals, are recognized with the Rotary Citation. I can't wait to celebrate with many of you! If you haven't already, please welcome your Presidents Elect back home and ask them to share the experience of their training with your club. It's one of the most inspirational weekends someone can take part in.

I'm so excited to share that we already have over 300 people registered for TriCon 2023. Join us and register today! Depending on when you're watching this, you might even be able to get registered before the extended early bird deadline ends on March 12th. If you missed that date, no worries, the registration cost is only slightly higher. Last month I mentioned two of our keynote speakers and today I'd like to mention the other two. Betsy Rozelle is an author, speaker, facilitator and Rotarian from Neenah, WI who will speak about generating enthusiasm for addressing the relationship between inadequate mental healthcare and addiction ---- and the what that shortfall means for people, families and our society. And finally, Angela Russel who is a nationally renowned and award winning leader in the DEI space and has been playing a gigantic role in transforming communities and businesses through an authentic commitment to DEI. Please keep spreading the word and inviting your club members to our annual conference!

One last thing. Ending Polio is still on the horizon for our organization and so many Rotarians in our District have been so generous to support this cause. To help get us to the finish line, please consider joining the District 6250 Polio Plus Society! This program is new in our District this year and designed to recognize your gifts and pledges to support Polio Plus at a minimum of $100 per year until Polio is eradicated. And remember, for the rest of this year and all of next year your contribution will be matched twice by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Help us to finish this important work so that someday soon we can celebrate the fact that polio has been eradicated and know that no child will ever again be paralyzed by polio. We’ll recognize all of our first time members at TriCon in April!

Download your copy of the form at the link below and join the Polio Plus Society today.

Thank you for all you do for our communities and the world See you next month!
