Holmen Area Rotary Club built beds for local children in need to improve sleep quality and academic success. Around 40 children in the community lacked proper beds.
About 39 total beds project amount of $13,350 with district grant of $5000 included on this.
We put together the headboards as a hands on project for the club. We supplied: Mattress, Box Spring, Frame, Headboard, Mattress cover, Sheets, Pillow and Blankets for each bed. We did have a number of bunk beds that we did supply.
We didn’t take any photos with the families or kids out of respect for their privacy.
Currently, we have a request for five beds for a new project, and we aim to scale it up into a larger endeavor.
