RYLA is back to being LIVE! We’re so excited to see everyone back at Camp Upham Woods this year, and we're taking all the precautions to make RYLA a safe and fun experience!

How to get your students registered for RYLA

Fill out the “Club Registration Form” on page 4 of the Student Packet to tell us how many students you’re sending. (more details are in the attached Rotary Tool Kit for Student Selection document)
Have all students along with their parents/guardians fill out the “Student Registration Form” on page 5 of the Student Packet.
After the club form is completed, the District 6250 office will send an invoice for payment. The invoice will be sent to the Treasurer and cc'd to the coordinator on the Club Registration form. Please send payment promptly once this invoice is received. Please make checks payable to Rotary District 6250.
The District Office will reconcile student forms submitted to club registrations. We will contact the RYLA Club coordinator if there are any discrepancies.
The registration and payment deadline is April 12, 2023.

What Is RYLA?

The Rotary District 6250 RYLA program is a camp designed to build future leaders and Rotarians who exemplify the four way test.

Is it the Truth?
Is it fair to all concerned?
Will it build good will and better friendships?
Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

Where is it?

RYLA will be held at Camp Upham Woods, Wisconsin Dells, WI

When is it?

The 2023 Rotary District 6250 RYLA Program is scheduled for May 12-14, 2023.

Who can attend?

Each year Rotary Clubs can sponsor students from local high schools to attend (it is strongly suggested sophomores be chosen, however this is not a requirement. We are encouraging clubs to possibly also send any junior candidates that were unable to join us last year in-person).
Adult Rotarians are always welcome and needed to help facilitate the Conference (and to come have fun!). Join us on staff or for the Farewell and Fellowship portion of the event from 4 – 6 PM.

What is the cost?

The cost to attend the camp is:

$250 per student which includes all materials, RYLA swag, lunch and dinner! Register by April 1, 2023.
$275 per student - After April 1, 2023

Rotary District 6250 RYLA Camp Director - Now Accepting Applications

District 6250 facilitates RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camp each year serving 150 young leaders from across WI. This weekend camp for high school sophomores has a vibrant history of providing a leadership and service experience that is engaging, inspiring, and above all, successful.

The RYLA Leadership Camp is currently looking to fill the Camp Director position for 2024/25. This is a paid stipend position and entails a variety of responsibilities including the coordination and facilitation of the leadership camp experience, leadership curriculum support, the opportunity to work collaboratively with District 6250 leaders, and above all, the opportunity to connect with, inspire, and shape the lives of thousands of young leaders. Candidates will have the opportunity to join the May 2023 RYLA experience to learn more about the role first hand.
