Exciting News: Minneapolis/St. Paul Could Potentially Host the 2029 Rotary International Convention!
A Rotary International Site Review team is currently visiting Minneapolis/St. Paul for a three-day final evaluation as a possible location for the worldwide 2029 Rotary International Convention.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, we're inviting everyone to a beautiful evening Fellowship Reception at Nicollet Island Pavilion. Not only will this premier historic Mississippi riverfront venue showcase Minnesota's best views of the Minneapolis bridges and skyline, but it will also be an opportunity to demonstrate our Rotary enthusiasm. This is a big moment, and we're thrilled to share it with you!

Join us for a significant event! The 2029 Rotary International Convention Site Review team is coming to Minneapolis/St. Paul from September 25-28, 2023. Attend our Special All-Rotary Lunch & VIP Speaker Program, scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Edina Country Club. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase our enthusiasm and prove how much we deserve to host the 2029 Rotary International Convention.
Let's show our support by joining the Welcome Receiving Line outside the Edina Country Club from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. We'll greet the Rotary VIPs and wave them in as they arrive in a mini-bus.
The lunch and program will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m. and conclude by 12:30 p.m. We are honored to have VIP speakers, including Marilyn Carlson Nelson, Co-Owner and Former CEO of Carlson, who will share her insights. The cost for visiting Rotarians and guests is $25.00. We hope to see you there!
Volunteer as a "Welcome Waver" for Our VIP Guests
Looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the team as "Welcome Wavers" for Rotary International's site visit. As a Welcome Waver, you'll be part of a team of Rotary volunteers from four districts, greeting VIPs throughout the event with signs, smiles, and Rotary gear.
You don't have to be a Rotarian to join us, just bring your enthusiasm! Choose the days and times that work for you, and we'll be in touch via email after registration with additional details.
