Madison West Towne Middleton Champions RYLA
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is Rotary's leadership training program for young people. Wisconsin Heights High School’s Kayleigh Pauley, Julia Wolf and Angelia Blair are recent RYLA attendees. They presented their May RYLA camp experiences at our July 26th meeting.
RYLA emphasizes leadership, citizenship, and personal growth, and aims to
- Demonstrate Rotary's respect and concern for youth
- Provide an effective training experience for selected youth and potential leaders
- Encourage leadership of youth by youth
- Recognize publicly young people who are rendering service to their communities
Madison West Towne Middleton Rotary sponsors four kids each year. Kevin Welton does the leg work for our club in grand fashion…and the kids are the beneficiaries!
