Recall that we began the year July 1  at 2,209 and at the end of the month we were even at 2,209. But some great things are going on in our District. At the end of August, we are +7 new members, bringing us to 2,216. Lets keep the momentum up as more clubs find using Membership Olympics gives them an advantage.

Here is some timely information on Membership and an update of new things to come from RI Director of Membership Development, Brian King:

The single most important factor in member satisfaction is the club experience. Soon, we will invite 2025-26 club presidents and club membership chairs to explore the Club Experience Concierge, an online, interactive resource that can help create a strategic plan for a well-rounded, meaningful club experience.

Based on which aspect of the club experience they would like to focus on, they’ll receive an instant response with links to recommended actions to take and resources to support them. Find the full message below.

We hope you will support this initiative and your club leaders by:

  1. Making sure the current name and email addresses of these critical club leaders are listed in My Rotary. We will connect with them several times over the next year.
  2. Encouraging your club leaders to use this resource and give them additional ideas and strategies based on your knowledge and expertise.
  3. Hosting a District Vibrant Club Workshop, where you can reinforce the importance of the club experience, and the connections between membership, public image, and our Foundation.

The Membership team at Rotary International and your regional leaders are here to support you if you have any questions. Feel free to write us at membershipdevelopment@rotary.org.”
