I recently returned from the Rotary International Presidential Peace Conference in Istanbul, where I spoke about Peace and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene. The conference highlighted Istanbul's cultural harmony and provided insights into global peacebuilding challenges. I left with renewed hope for unity and a belief in the possibility of Peace, reinforcing our District 6250's goal to become a "Global Peacebuilder District" in 2024-2025.
I encourage those interested in Peace to enroll in the free "Rotary Positive Peace Academy" online course through our partnership with the Institute of Economics and Peace. Additionally, I invite you to our TriCon conference on April 25th and 26th in Brookfield, WI, where you can connect with fellow Rotarians and be inspired to take action.
