Rotarians Sharing Rotary
The Sharing Starts Here - Join District Governor Mary Kessens at a fun and satisfying event that goes to the core of Rotary. Where Rotarians from all over the region get together and share experiences at a meeting site that’s terrific for your whole family. The best way to feel a surge of pride, as a Rotarian, is to attend a district conference.
Explore New Dimensions of Rotary - This is a time to get outside your club, see what other clubs are doing and learn much more about Rotary International and its initiatives. The more you learn, the more you share about the myriad of Rotary activities and accomplishments you’ll find the experience both energizing and gratifying.
Youthful Exuberance - Each year the district conference hosts the in-bound and out-bound Rotary Youth Exchange students from our district. A highlight every year is witnessing young people coming into the banquet room carrying flags from all over the world. The students have their own meeting agenda during the weekend but there are multiple opportunities to meet and get to know them.
Fellowship Galore - The hospitality and socializing is remarkable because the people are heartening and the conversation inspiring. In addition to hospitality, there are special events that you, and your spouse/guest, can enjoy with fellow Rotarians.
There is a golf outing at 7:30 a.m. for $65/person including cart and lunch. Or choose a two hour scenic river cruise at 10:00 a.m. for $20/person ($8 for children ages 6-12, free for children age five or younger).
We will be entertained by wonderful musicans too. Ricardo Vaszquez "The Marimba Man" will perform on Friday Evening and the group Cuicani wil perform on Saturday evening.
